Taiotoshi
This technique is also known as the "body drop." Taiotoshi is a forward throwing technique where the goal of the throw is to rotate your opponent over an outstretched leg.
Seoi Nage
This technique is a shoulder throw. The object of this technique is to lift your opponent up on your hip and shoulder and rotate forward, throwing them infront of your body.
Drop Seoi nage
This technique is very similar to standing Seio Nage. This technique is useful when your opponent is bent over and you cannot obtain a position to throw a standing Seoi Nage.
Osoto Gari
This technique is thrown by reaping your opponent's outside leg with your leg and throwing them backwards.
Ogoshi
This is a hip technique in which you will hug your opponent around the waist with one arm and rotate them over your hip, throwing them infront of you.
Koshi Guruma
This is a hip technique similar to Ogoshi. The main difference is that you will hug your opponent's head to rotate them over your hip.
Harai Goshi
This is a technique where the thrower rotates their opponent over one of their outstretched legs. The outstretched leg is also used to lift the opponent.
Lunging firemans
This technique is a variation of the standard firemans. In this variation the thrower slides to the outside of their opponent rolling them across their shoulders to the mat.
Sumi Gaeshi
This is a variation of the standard sumi gaeshi. In this variation the thrower reaches over their opponent's shoulder and uses the grip to throw them over the top of them and to follow through landing in the mount.
Sliding Footsweep
In this technique the thrower sweeps their opponent's feet out from under them when moving laterally.
Sliding kouchi gari
In this technique the thrower pulls their opponent's stepping leg out from under them, throwing them backwards and a 45 degree angle.
Stepping Ouchi Gari
This is a variation of the standard ouchi gari. In this technique the thrower throws their opponent by hooking the inside of their stepping leg, throwing them backwards.
Uchimata
This is a variation of the standard uchimata. The thrower hooks their opponent's closest leg, and then while hopping around their opponent's standing leg they twist them to the mat.
Sasae Tsuri Komi Ashi
In this technique the thrower pulls the opponent onto their chest and rotates them over their outstretched leg, tripping their opponent and taking them to the mat.
Drop Ouchi Gari
In this variation of a standard ouchi gari, the thrower hooks in for ouchi gari and drops to one knee. Then the thrower drives their opponent backwards.
Kimura Sumi Gaeshi
In this variation of sumi gaeshi, the thrower uses a kimura grip to throw their opponent over them.
Sit out choke
This is a strangle where you flatten your opponent out, and use the lapel grip to submit them.
Butterfly sweep
This is obtained by pulling an individual in turtle on top of you, then using butterfly hooks to roll them to the side and gain side control.
Butterfly choke
This is obtained by pulling an opponent that is in turtle position onto you. The submission is then gained by strangling them with the lapel.
Leg armlock
This is done by hooking an opponent's arm with your leg and stretching their arm out. The submission is obtained by flattening your hips to the mat.
Juji Roll
This technique is used to obtain a cross side arm lock by rolling an opponent from the turtle position.
Sankaku jime
This is a technique used to gain a triangle choke when your opponent is in the turtle position.
Revers sankaku jime
This is a variation of the standard sankaku jime. This technique is used to gain a triangle choke from your opponent's turtle guard.
British Strangle
This technique is a way to get into a bow and arrow choke by rolling your opponent when they are in turtle guard.
